An outline planning application for the eastern section of the Lawson’s Quay site was approved by the Lancaster City Council planning committee. The approximately £55 million scheme includes a hotel complex, office units, shops and a residential area.

The scheme was designed as a joint venture between London based architects, Hamiltons and Harrison Pitt Architects. The masterplanning experience of Hamiltons and the local knowledge of Harrison Pitt Architects, combined with the design and technical experience of both practices, has led to the creation of an exciting scheme for the redevelopment of a large site in the heart of Lancaster.
