Plans have been submitted to South Lakeland District Council for an exciting extension to a barn near Ulverston.

The proposals involve stripping out an existing 1980’s Sun Room and replacing it with a exciting Oak Framed Structure based on an organic form. The Sun Room will have expansive glazed elevations to take advantage of the views over the surrounding countryside.

A new oak balcony structure is also proposed, which replaces the 1980’s bay window. The balcony structure is in the shape of a large oak cruck frame which complements the shape of the existing extension.
