Harrison Pitt named among top North West architects
Harrison Pitt Architects has been named in a prestigious list of the North West’s top architecture practices.
The firm has been named in North West Business Insider’s league table of North West architects which is ranked by the number of qualified of architects each practice has working in the region.
Harrison Pitt Architects is the only practice outside Greater Manchester and Liverpool to have made the Top 20 list.
Director Richard Woolridge said: “All the other practices on the list are either huge multi-disciplinary, international practices, or other large practices based in the major city conurbations of the North West.
“To be the only Lancashire and Cumbria architect on this list is a great achievement. The list is keenly anticipated each year by the regional property community and it shows that we have a growing reputation in the commercial property sector in the North West.”
This year’s list also highlighted a landmark project by each practice and Harrison Pitt Architects’ work on The Forest Side hotel in Grasmere, pictured, was singled out for recognition.
The £3m project has seen a restoration of the historic hotel, including the addition of new restaurant facilities. The hotel was recently awarded a Michelin Star.
